NORTH FORK OF THE SHOSHONE
Flows are around 336cfs today. Flows have dropped significantly in the past few weeks. Most the fish seem to be back in the reservoir, but we are finding some success in deeper runs nymphing with stoneflies. The river has been blown out numerous times in the past few weeks.
SOUTH FORK OF THE SHOSHONE
The river is currently at 12cfs on the lower part of the sf. The river is so low the discharge gauge will soon not read. the upper South Fork above twin creeks is fishing incredible. Nymphing with small stoneflies, perdigons, and frenchies. are proving to be successful. some dry fly action on yellow sally’s and Green Drakes. Streamer fishing is exceptional. The river has been blown out off and on for a few weeks now.
LOWER SHOSHONE
Flows are currently at 1227cfs. The river is still blown out.
Thermopolis, Wyoming
BIGHORN RIVER
Flows are around 1062cfs. The water temps are extremely hot, and the river is closed after noon. Nymphing is going to be the most productive. Sowbugs, scuds, baetis, midges, worms, perdigons, duracells, pheasant tails. Dry fly and streamers are productive as well.
