Fishing report

Cody, Wyoming

North Fork of the shoshone

Flows are around 2200cfs. closed until July first from Gibbs Bridge to newton creek. The runoff has officially started, and there’s a lot of snow still to come. I’d suggest fishing during a cold spell or waiting until around June.

South Fork of the shoshone

Flows are around 1300cfs. The south fork is running pretty dirty, and will mostly likely stay dirty until June.

Lower Shoshone

Flows are at 1340cfs. The fishing has been great. The waters gets dirtier from tributaries the further you get downstream. Mothers Day Caddis are here. Look for heads. Also try nymphing the runs, and streamer fishing the banks.

Thermopolis, Wyoming

Bighorn river

Flows are at 1240cfs. The fishing has been wonderful. Baetis, worms, and sowbugs have been working the best.
