NORTH FORK OF THE SHOSHONE
Flows are at 216cfs today. The river is fishing isn’t good. Many of the fish are back in the reservoir now.
SOUTH FORK OF THE SHOSHONE
The fishing is really good, mostly on warmer days Nymphing stoneflies, perdigons, pheasnat tails, and duracells are working the best. You could also try throwing chubbies, caddis, drakes, or other mayfly dries. Streamers can still work as well. Mostly try buggers or similar.
LOWER SHOSHONE
Flows are at 211cfs. The fishing has been good, but the river is very low. Nymphing has been the best. Pheasant tails, perdigons, duracells, meatheads, worms. BWO action on dries can be good during mid day. Streamers have been working well too.
Thermopolis, Wyoming
BIGHORN RIVER
Flows are around 600cfs. Most the fish have moved into their winter holding water(deeper runs). Nymphing is by far going to be the most productive. Sowbugs, scuds, baetis, midges, worms, perdigons, duracells, pheasant tails.
