NORTH FORK OF THE SHOSHONE
Flows are at 678cfs today. The river keeps fluctuating with runoff. Remember the North Fork is closed from Newton creek down to Gibbs Bridge until July 1st. On days the river is clean, nymphing stoneflies works the best. The river is currently crawling with stonefly nymphs. Also try perdigons, soft hackle pheasant tails, and nf specials.
SOUTH FORK OF THE SHOSHONE
The river is currently at 89cfs. The fishing is really good on days the river is clean. Nymphing stoneflies, perdigons, pheasnat tails, duracells, and midges are working the best. Streamers are starting to work really well.
LOWER SHOSHONE
Flows are currently at 1180cfs. The fishing has been good. Nymphing has been the best. Midges, pheasant tails, perdigons, duracells, meatheads, worms. BWO action on dries can be good at times. Streamers have been working at times too.
Thermopolis, Wyoming
BIGHORN RIVER
Flows are around 1020cfs. Nymphing is by far going to be the most productive. Sowbugs, scuds, baetis, midges, worms, perdigons, duracells, pheasant tails. Dry fly and streamers are becoming much more productive.
